Redburn is a North West based contractor specialising in groundworks, civil engineering and utilities, supporting infrastructure and construction projects across the region.

Seymour Graphic Solutions has developed an ongoing relationship with Redburn, initially supporting their commercial fleet branding before expanding our services to include workplace window graphics and temporary road signage.

Our relationship with Redburn began when they were experiencing difficulties with their existing vehicle graphics supplier.

With different types of vehicles joining the fleet, from panel vans and dropside vehicles to larger grab trucks, maintaining consistency across different sizes and body styles was another important consideration.

Consistent Branding Across a Growing Fleet

Seymour Graphic Solutions began producing and installing Redburn's commercial vehicle graphics, establishing a consistent approach to materials, colours and branding across their fleet.

By maintaining detailed records of the vinyl materials, colours and specifications used, we can reproduce graphics for additional vehicles while retaining a consistent appearance, regardless of the vehicle type.

During the first twelve months of our relationship, we branded more than 14 vehicles, with further installations following as the business continued to grow.

Our approach considers not only the finished appearance, but also the practicalities of installation, helping minimise disruption and get vehicles back into service as efficiently as possible.

Chapter 8 Reflective Vehicle Markings

Alongside the company branding, we have installed high-visibility reflective chevrons on Redburn's commercial vehicles.

For these applications, we've used high-intensity prismatic reflective materials rather than lower-performance engineering-grade alternatives.

These materials offer enhanced retroreflective performance, helping improve vehicle visibility in low-light conditions and supporting the requirements of vehicles working on or near highways.

By combining company branding with appropriate high-visibility markings, we help Redburn maintain a professional fleet appearance while addressing the practical safety requirements of their operations.

Window Manifestations for Their Northwich Offices

As our working relationship developed, Redburn also called upon Seymour to provide window manifestations at their offices in Northwich, Cheshire.

Window manifestations serve an important practical purpose within commercial environments, making large areas of glazing more visible to building users and helping reduce the risk of people walking into otherwise difficult-to-see glass.

This project extended our involvement beyond the vehicle fleet, demonstrating how we can support the wider signage and graphics requirements of a growing business.

Supporting Expansion into Traffic Management

When Redburn expanded its operations into traffic management, Seymour Graphic Solutions was once again able to provide support.

We have produced temporary road signage to meet the practical requirements of their new service offering, providing clear, functional signs for use within traffic management operations.

Unlike conventional commercial branding, temporary road signage requires a different approach, with particular consideration given to legibility, consistency, production efficiency and the intended application.

By understanding these requirements and adapting our production methods accordingly, we've been able to support Redburn with another aspect of their expanding business.
